Austin, TX and Lake Travis

I recently took a “girls” trip with my mom and sister to Austin, Texas. We stayed in downtown Austin as our home base, and enjoyed all the amazing food that Austin is known for.

One of the cool things to see is the recently closed Graffiti Park. Once open to the public, this park filled with various graffiti art is now fenced off from the public while they await demolition so they can build a new park. But we still got to snap some pics through the fence.

We also took a day trip to Lake Travis (same as my maiden name!) and to Waco to see (of course) Magnolia Market at the Silos.

Lake Travis was an Uber ride away from Austin. We went to the Oasis, where I had seen picturesque views on Pinterest, and we got to experience the sunset over the lake for ourselves.
