Sample Itinerary

Example itinerary through northern Vietnam. (We combined Vietnam with stops in Thailand and Cambodia for a two-week trip.)

  • Hanoi (3 nights)
    Recommended Hotel: O’Gallery Majestic Hotel & Spa
    • Visit the famous Hoa Lo Prison Memorial (AKA the “Hanoi Hilton”)
    • Stop by the iconic Train Street where the trains run through the narrow alley (now with some restrictions, so best to stop at one of the cafes for a view)
    • Day trip to Halong Bay (can also book overnight on a junk boat)
